This project seeks to investigate how the elements of slow living can be expressed through the form of an electric household kettle.
The electric kettle is a common household object, found in nearly every home. Most kettles sold in the market can function well, but they often lack a touch of familial comfort suited for a domestic context.
By only working with the aesthetic form and details of the kettle, I was interested in finding the right balance between functionality and a sense of ritualistic warmth.
